The Enhancer™ magnifies a Rifle Scope's zoom capability by a factor of 2! What does this mean? If you have a 1-4 magnification Rifle Scope, the enhancer attachment will modify your zoom capabilities to be 2-8. If you have a 1-8, it will be 2-16! The enhancer mounts on Rifle Scopes with a 30mm or 1-inch objective tube diameter through a mounting ring and has its own windage and elevation adjustments, so if you decide to remove it, your current scope settings will remain untouched. The TRYBE Optics Enhancer™ is a 2-piece design; the lens section and mount section are threaded. Once the lens is initially installed and bore-sighted, it can be removed and reinstalled by hand without further boresighting. This allows the scope operator to quickly swap between the scope's native zoom or thread on the Enhancer™ for increased zoom. This Enhancer™ comes with a mount that fits 30mm objective tubes, but also includes a Delrin insert that will reduce the 30mm clamp to a 1-inch objective tube size making this item incredibly versatile. You might have some questions about this product like "What type of glass does this use?" Well, the Enhancer™ uses ED glass with a proprietary Diamond Bright coatings for maximum light transmission, glare reduction, and scratch resistance. You might also ask, "What about the effect on light transmission? In this case, the extra lenses affect light transmission the same as the number of extra lenses in a higher-powered scope would. It is insignificant and unnoticeable by the user. What about Field of view?? The enhancer does not affect the field of view any more than a scope of double the magnification would. The FOV is related to the design of the eyepiece, not the objective. With a weight of just over 8 ounces(232 grams) and coming in at 3.3 x 1.7 x 1.7 you won't even notice the Enhancer™ on the end of your Rifle Scope and the 40mm objective lens size won't stand out on your existing scope.
